The thump didn't stir attention from the surface but rather from someone behind the door. "Oi! Who's there?" Snapped a weasely voice, the sound of drawn steel soon followed. The man on the other side approached the door with caution, having forgotten to put his clothes back on.
Though he did not want to be close enough to be on the receiving end of another charge.

Kee stopped short of a second charge at the sound of a human voice and exhaled with a soft snort. Typical for her run of luck. She waited for a moment or two to see if he'd open the door on his own, then moved closer and, using her antler, knocked against the wood a few times. It was a slow and awkward knock, but it was a knock that would hopefully draw his curiosity. In the meanwhile, Kee backed up just enough to give herself room to charge the occupant without so much he might slip past and try to run for help - even if she was certain she could outrun any typical human.

The half naked man didn't trust the sound and remained a foot or so to the side of the door with his weapon readied. Luckily for him no one was able to see his wobbily legs in fear that one of the beasts, possibly Tyarnach, had gotten loose. For now he was safer in the room, the door bar working in his favour. "I-I'll give you three seconds to answer me cretin!"

Kee rolled her eyes and stared at the door, stomping her hoofed foot impatiently. Turning her back to the door, she bucked up and kicked with both feet, then again, and again. "Open the door already, you impossible and cretinous human being!" Her concern for Tyarnach had not given her a wealth of patience for dealing with this at the moment, but then again, unless the man happened to understand speech from a deer's mouth, she couldn't fairly expect him to obey her demands.

The answer the man got made him even more adamant not to open the door. The only deer he knew of was the one Lord Cyburn had contained, and that was definitely a deer cry. "Oh shit" his muffled voice could be heard cursing behind the frame. If she was out that meant she broke free, could have killed Cyburn, and the other guards, he'll, how did she even get here, she must have been on a killing spree seeking to destroy every human being employed under Cyburn's services.

Kee stared at the door for a while and waited, and of course nothing seemed to happen. With another irritated grunt, she moved off to the side of the door, pressed against the wall, and loudly clomped her hooves on the floor. The clicks of her hooves became progressively quieter, as if she were walking away from the door and out of the cellar. Then, she waited with an impatient glare, to see if the human inside would dare peek out if he thought she had given up.

He was indeed stupid enough to fall for it, lifting the plank and unlocking the door, peering through the gap with heavy breaths. He was still mostly naked meaning he was vulnerable if the spirit turned on him.
Cautiously he opened the door just a smidge, his fingertips curling around it's frame.

Sure enough, the moment the door no longer seemed to be barricaded and the man was peeking about, Kee bounded out in front of it and slammed her body against the wooden surface, shoving it open and glaring at the troublesome man who was delaying her. Knowing he had a blade, and knowing he might try to run or yell if she wasn't quick, her first act was to try to slam her hard skull into his. He could rest assured that, with one missing antler, she was far less likely to accidentally poke an eye out in the process.

Reinforced skull to the man's face, backed by force knocked him out cold, his nose dripping with blood as he slumped back against the bed, but at least Kee was inside now and had access to talk the things she would need to get Tyarnach out and stand a chance of leaving the house alive.
But which key could possibly open the cell door? There was no master key and each was different, probably for a reason and there had to have been fourteen at least on one ring. Though the advantage she had came from a lone key on the bedside table as well as some bloodied gauntlets, boots, rags and what appeared to be some kind of large hammer. Given Tyarnach's wounded state that line key might have been just the one she was looking for. And enticing amounts of bread and apples would help her recover from her horrid four day trek and the draining spells the mage had used.

It was impossible to resist the sight of food on an empty stomach, and though she was desperate to get Tyarnach free, the first thing she thought to do was take a large bite from the closest apple and chew as she examined the contents of the room. Yes, the lone key seemed to be the most promising of the bunch, and she changed for what she hoped would be the final time for a while now, taking it up in her fingers. Just in case, she grabbed the ring with the others, the rags, the hammer, and as much bread as she could hold. Now moving quickly and with some reassurance that she wasn't easy to hear while down in the cellar, she ran out and dropped them all on the floor in front of Tyarnach's cell, ran back into the room, and dragged the human off the bed, not in the most delicate manner. He would likely be concussed if he woke, but her concern was having him wake and lock himself back in the room like a tick.
The heavy and mostly naked man was deposited on the cold ground not far from the cage, well within reach of that hammer should he wake up in any position to fight. Kee knelt in front of Tyarnach's cage and chose the key that had been separate from the others first, trying to insert it into the lock and turn.

It opened with enough ease that despite the pain Tyarnach was able to make an expression of surprise. He dare not dream it but perhaps her help would give him the will again to turn on his master, even if his injuries prevented him from so much as growling.
It seemed that Kee's hard head had knocked the man out fairly well as he didn't even stir, leaving the two with an opportunity to get to the door so Isa could let them out.

Kee scooted into the opening of the cage and draped her arms gently over him, lowering her head and leaning her cheek against his forehead in what was the best attempt at a hug she could give without disrupting the way he lay. "I don't know why I can't heal you in here," She told him quietly, lifting her head and moving her hands carefully over his body to feel for broken bones. "But if I move you, it's probably going to hurt quite a bit. There's nothing I can do for you until we're in a better place." Leaning back, she made eye contact with him, or at least tried. "I need to know that that's all right. I would heal you now if I could, but something's keeping it from working."

Tyarnach understood, his will to live pushing the boundaries of accepting his punishment, having had time to think on what Mystic had done that made him feel somewhat....whole. trying to confirm her offer of help, he nodded and moved a paw closer to her.

Kee smiled reassuringly, squeezed his paw, and quickly gathered up the supplies she had stolen, wrapping the things in the bloody rag. Sure, the bread might not be as appetizing that way, but it meant they wouldn't starve if they escaped. At least the apples would be fine, and having a hammer meant she'd be less defenseless in her humanoid shape. Everything was secured quickly, and she moved over to Tyarnach's side. "All right. I'm going to do this quickly. Just... hang in there."
She gave him one final pat before ducking her head and very quickly seizing his large, heavy paws. It wasn't easy at all to move him, but given she didn't want to roll him over her antler, it was her only option. She heaved him up onto her shoulders, nearly bent in half due to his weight. As she changed shape, she was able to adjust the way he lay so that he would remain mostly stable on her back. By the time she had shifted shape completely, she had gotten him out of the cell and hooked the makeshift 'bag' with the stolen goods onto her antler. "Okay," She said a bit breathlessly, looking back at him. She did not draw attention to her missing antler. Even if he noticed, he could probably guess how it happened, or so she figured. "I won't ask how bad it was. Are you all right?"

He couldn't really answer her question as the pain from being moved made his broken bones scream with an agony that felt as if a fire was coursing through his body, and as tough as he was, and as trained as he was to not show weakness, he wimpered. At least now he was off the ground and one step closer to freedom. All they had to do was get to the hatch and escape the city, that was simple enough.... Right?
