Kee nudged his nose gently with hers, it was the only reassurance she could offer him for now. She licked his cheek briefly and began to head down the cellar hallway, past the soothed hounds, towards the hatch. Rapping gently on the door with her antler once she ascended the steps, she called out in a quiet voice, "Isa?"

There was no reply from the young ghost girl but the hatch opened, a gloved hand catching the deer by her antler and pulling her up with a powerful and harsh force. That was the moment Isa's tormented, terrified cries could be heard as one of her only friends was grasped in the hand of a Valkiir bounty hunter.
The valkiir were a huge, bipedal wolf like race who had the signature feature of horns or tusks depending on the gender, and considering no female, 'ferrashaa', had rites, this one clearly desplayed the appearance of curved boar tusks. He was donned head to toe in protective leather armor and in his spare hand he held a polearm, this bestial race was one of the most feared due to their powerful strength and prowess in battle as well as their cruel nature. all which made up for their lack of great intelligence, that being the only reason as to why humans were more successful.

Kee was forced to choose between her instinct to fight and keeping Tyarnach balanced on her back. She was only able to jerk her head wildly to try to throw off the hand holding her antler, as well as trying to bite the arm that was attached to it.
The sight of a predator didn't do any favors for the sudden panic rushing through her, heart pounding as she struggled. "Isa! No!"

The hired thug easily lifted Kee's weight by her antler, threatening for it to break if she didn't comply, but it was the only enticement, Kee understood the pain and vulnerability vwhen faceds against a spirit creature, and Isa shared that weakness, imprisoned by ghostly hands that had been conjured by Cyburn who stood next to the young elf, a smug expression on his face. "I suggest you give yourself up or your familiar friend suffers. And return my stolen property at once."

Kee's side heaved with deep breaths as she took a look around. There were very few options being given to her, and none of them were exactly what she needed. She was very much trapped by the two. Her head eventually hung as she stopped fighting the valkiir that held her. "I don't know what else to do, Tyarnach," She told the blue beast on her back in a quiet voice, not expecting him to have much of an answer either. All she could do was signal her defeat by no longer trying to jerk free from the mercenary that held her captive.

"Heh, very good. Get them up, I have a few words I'd like to say before anything else happens." Cyburn said with a smug voice as the Valkiir grabbed Kee by antler and throat to pull her and her wounded companion out of the darkness and into the light. Tyarnach's body slumping to the ground as he slid from her back.
"I told you you were mine now." The mage growled, his smirk turning into a dangerous scowl. "You've seen what happens to those who disobey even slightly," a hand gestured to the broken and bleeding Tyarnach, "and yet with the help of a... Former slave, you destroy a valuable prize, attempt to escape -and- steal my prized fighter. This is all a terribly serious offence." He stalled closer, using his staff as a cane, "but to think this little rodent had been skulking around, after all these years, I have a use for her though, so thank you for drawing her out."

Kee couldn't move, not with the clawed hand pressed to her throat. All the power that had been in her removed antler was drained by the constant shifting of forms. She still tried jerking away one more time, now that Tyarnach was no longer on her back, but doubted it would come to very much of anything. "Your prize was mine to begin with!" She snapped, even though she knew she was in the wrong form for communicating. "And I wasn't stealing anybody, I was freeing him. I don't try to own people."
For all her defiant bleating at Cyburn she could only think to herself, Creator, what have I gotten in to? I can't stop him. It wasn't quite a prayer so much as a plea of desperation. Ever since her involvement with the whole situation, she had been a constant state of being half-lost and needing guidance.

"Oh such a wild thing you are, perhaps heartbreak will allow you to understand the kind of situation you're in." It wasn't so much a suggestive threat as it was an act of violence, a move of his staff and Isa begain to scream in a mental panic as her spirit was drained by the hands and transfered into the staff, as the process happened she begged for Kee's help. "Please! Please no! It hurts!" She cried, reaching for the deer as she began to fade.
But Kee could not retaliate, their was no time, not when the roof came crashing down in a white and gold blur. The thundering roar of a Dragon shook fear into the bones of every living creature that heard it. But this was no random attack nor any random Dragon. Her sharp green eyes scanned the derbri, looking for someone in particular, her mere presence revitalized and gave strength to Isa, Kee and Tyarnach.
But the interruption was quick as she took a swipe at Cyrus, ripping away his flesh to a critical amount, his red blood stained her white claws before she snatched Kee and Tyarnach in her claws, taking to the skies in an instant before reaching a safe height where a flap of her wings would summon an unholy purple and black haze beam that destroyed the house... And any potential survivors.
Without speaking a word to its captives, the signature god Dragon, first child of Mystic, flew laps around the city, casting a breath of destructive magic on anything she saw fit before taking off and leaving the citadel, flying north towards the ocean boarded. Her powerful grip had put Tyarnach in an unconscious state, lessening his agony, while she kept a loose grip on the spirit to prevent her from falling.
If gold and yellow wasn't enough to give away the Dragon's status, the scarf worn around her neck that featured a mystical orb, twin to the on that levitated between the large spikes on her tail, and her shadowy feathered wings would.

In all the chaos, it was true, Kee had no time to react. Her screams for Isa turned into a brief yelp of panic as she was grabbed and hauled up into the sky, unable to 'hold on' considering her present shape. She merely had to trust that her savior wouldn't accidentally drop her. She looked around wildly, noting her blue friend didn't seem to be particularly conscious, then tilted her head up, staring wide-eyed at the dragon. Given all that happened in such a short amount of time, it took her a while to clear her thoughts enough to process what was happening.
"How did... Why? You?" Evidently, the spirit was still in a state of shock, and she shook her head as if it would bring order to all of the things she wanted to ask. "Where are we going? And what just happened? I thought you were... not a myth, but not..." There were no words, and she stared hopelessly up at Baylon, her long ears pressed back against her head.

Baylon's pupils looked back towards Kee as she questioned the events, tough the goddess wasn't much for talking, she answered, "A legend? I help save the world from Scale and I am still considered a legend?" She spoke sternly with telepathy, "I'm taking you back to Eternia, where you belong. As noble as your quest to revive the land was a you failed it because of.... This." She lifted her forearm, indicating to Tyarnach.

"That isn't what I meant," Kee protested quietly, trusting her pseudo-cousin to be able to hear her despite the wind that whipped against her skin as she was carried through the sky. "You're not a legend, of course. I-I don't want to go back to Eternia yet, though! I wasn't failing because of Tyarnach!" Her tone grew more heated as she protested, looking worried to her unconscious friend. "Tyarnach saved me. I was struggling because of Cyburn, the human you took us from. He's the one that wanted to destroy the forest."

"And if you cannot protect that forest than perhaps your task came too soon, you're not ready." The goddess argued, easily able to hear the young spirit despite the wind resistance, not that Baylon was very old herself. "And do not think I am fooled, this 'Tyarnach' only saved you because of the creator. No other reason, he saved you from the ghoul simply because it was convenient, lest his burrow be found."
From the rocky hills and past the sand, Baylon glided over the ocean, a beautiful mix between twilight and dawn painted the sky in pastel colours as they headed towards their home continent. A sight only few creatures would ever have the privilege of seeing.

"Mystic's rain didn't make Tyarnach fight for me, it freed him from Cyburn's control. He made that choice himself. And beaten and dying in the house, he let me save him. He's a good person, when magic isn't controlling him. If he was only concerned with his hiding spot, he could have run away while I was fighting, or just let me wear it down until I was defeated." Despite the goddess being all the more powerful and arguably more omnipotent than herself, Kee seemed resolute in her beliefs. "I can protect the forest with help, but I'm not a god. I never will be." She sighed and rested her head on the paw that held her, staring out towards their destination.
"Anyway, it doesn't matter what his reason was, because he deserved help. If I couldn't save one person from a power-mad human being, there was no way I'd be able to protect the entire forest all on my own. That doesn't mean I wanted to give up and go back to Eternia, though. I thought... I thought I was doing all right. Not great, maybe, but not bad." It was a lovely sight, but her mind was preoccupied with what she was beginning to see as a failure.

"Regardless you have a duty, you are to protect your domain with your life, not get involved with the affairs of outsiders, as you said, you're not a god." Like a scolding mother Baylon laid the lines clear for Kee, these were rules she should have been taught by her elders.

"I'm just to sit in the dark forest alone and ignore a problem in front of me because it's not my duty? He was a slave! He was being controlled by a cruel, horrible human and if not for him, there wouldn't be a forest for me to protect because Cyburn would have burned it up right before my very eyes." Kee once more found herself looking up at the goddess with a huff. "And when I asked the Creator for help, he didn't tell me to just abandon Tyarnach, either. With respect, there's no point in doing a duty for the greater good if you're going to ignore the chance to do something right when it comes to you. Nobody else was helping him."
