Kee occasionally stopped to make sure he had time to catch up without risking hurting himself, but it was easy to tell by looking at her that she was impatient. The odd weight of having only one antler for the time being combined with this attitude to create a rather comical appearance, where she would stand several feet ahead of him with her head tilted a bit, looking bewildered and wild.
When, at last, she had led him to the unusual cave, she seemed to calm down a bit. Her ears were once more twitching and turning, alert for noises. "Something's in here," She told Tyarnach while sticking her head into the cave entrance. "The Creator mentioned something about Vee-Vee, maybe this is the place."

''Ah yes because every person of importance lives in a suspicious looking cave.'' Tyarnach groaned on arrival as he sniffed the area around the campsite. ''This hasn't been used in a very, very long time, I can't even smell the ash.'' He stated as he moved closer towards the entrance staying only a few feet behind the spirit. ''Did you really need to fetch me for this?''

Kee huffed again when she looked back at him. "Despite being in Eternia, things can still be dangerous. But if this is where we're meant to go, you need to be along too. They might have answers for you. If I'm wrong, well, we can go back to the shrine and I'll help you fall back asleep. Is that fair?" She didn't wait to hear if it was. Feeling less worried now that he was there with her, Kee took the first few steps into the tunnel and tilted her head about, directing the glow from her antler as if it were a torch.

The glow revealed the length of the cavelike tunnel and it went on for several meters ahead of where they were, the brambles grew larger as they drew near to what mystic had described exactly, a cage of thick thorn like vines walled off the larger section of the cave, but behind what could be considered 'bars' was not something one would expect.
It was a rather well lit area with various glowing lanterns made from wood, sap and fireflies with an assortment of books, jars and furniture. And it's captive did not appear as if it was deserving of such an aggressive looking form of natural security. Vee-Vee was roughly Tyarnach's height and sat quite comfortably on a wooden chair with several open books, some alchemy ingredients and what could be considered food for a bipedal ''man-eating'' Venus flytrap.
Appearance wise Vee-Vee had a large head and broad wing-like leaves for arms that seemed rather out of proportion for his actual body which consisted of a rather simple slim build and tail and he was known for his mentorship of Baylon, having raised the manifestation of light and darkness from a young age... and to much success.

Upon spotting Vee-Vee, Kee froze for a moment, her wet nose twitching as she sniffed the air in the plant-creature's direction. He didn't smell like the usual predator, but she could only assume the cage existed for a reason, either to keep him in or others out. Either way, she avoided the brambles and took rather cautious steps closer.
"Excuse me? Um, s-sir?" She faltered at the use of gender, knowing from experience alone that it might be a mistake to assume based on appearances. It had slipped her mind for that moment that she had heard others refer to Vee-Vee as 'he'. "I'm sorry if we're disturbing you. Are you Vee-Vee?" He had to be, surely. Their surroundings were accurate, though the thing in question was not at all what she had pictured.

''That I am.'' Replied the voice of the green plant like creature, though he did not look back to face his guests, at least not yet. ''Though for you to know my name and where I am I take it you want something of me and are not a visitor.'' a sad sigh could be heard. Though Vee-Vee wasn't necessarily lonely, clearly someone had given him access to quite a lot of luxury, fresh meat and insects seemed to have been in abundance so whomever helped him maintain such a condition must care about him a lot.
Tyarnach stood warily behind Kee, watching her and then the creature that they had come to visit.

The tone of the plant being's voice saddened her, and the spirit took a few more steps, avoiding the brambles while trying to show she wasn't afraid. "Well... no, not just a visitor," She admitted reluctantly. "But maybe we can stay and keep you company?" She cast a glance back at Tyarnach, then forward again. "That is, there are things I need to know, but I wouldn't just demand them of you. I'm Kee," She explained gently. "And this one with me is Tyarnach. I was told to seek you out. That you might know things... But why are you in a cage?"

''Caoimhe.'' Vee-Vee corrected her, despite it being her own name. ''Spirit of Nature, yes I know much about you as your predecessors knew much about me.'' Similar to a snake or other creature with a forked tongue, the plant spoke with a similar hiss when it came to words with the letters 's' and 'th'. However he made no comment on Kee's introduction to her bestial friend, it wasn't exactly a name he was all to familiar with. ''Though by no fault of my own, I'm in here to keep others such as yourself safe, I thought the chain of horrible events that I caused would have been famous by now, but I suppose it is something many would rather forget-- or rather not know.''
There was a connection between the three in the room as well as the two gods and numerous others that Kee and Tyarnach would meet on their journey and the link between each was of great importance, especially to the revival of Mystic. And Vee-Vee was a lore keeper of sorts, rumored to foresee the future and particularly good at recalling events, it seemed as if he was indeed an excellent person to start with if the two ever needed a point in the right direction, despite his past.

"Yes," The spirit confirmed her full name a bit meekly. "I don't know what it is you did, but... surely it can't be so bad?" She couldn't think of much in terms of reassurance when he was stuck in a living cage of sorts, but it was her nature to try. "You must get some kind of visitor now and then? And you have food." They had a goal to reach, she knew, but in addition to taking the Creator's words to hear that she need not try to accomplish it all at once, she also felt compelled to perk up the plant creature before asking anything of him.

Tyarnach sat down, content with the distance he had between the cage and the stranger, though he could relate to the feeling of being in such a confinement, he never had the luxury that Vee-Vee had.
''It was, yes'' the plant creature replied, ''And I do, The goddess of balance quite frequently visits me and makes sure that I have everything I need but aside from her and occasionally Shadow, I don't see faces very often.'' He turned from where he was and removed himself from the chair before walking over to his guests. ''A pleasure to meet you both.''

Curiosity continued to gnaw at Kee, who longed to ask what he could have possibly done that was so bad, yet did not want to offend or upset the being that likely help the answers they needed. "You seem nice, though. There are far crueler people out there that aren't in cages." She extended her neck and tried to poke her nose through the gaps in the cage without getting jabbed. "That's actually sort of why we're here. One of the reasons. I think. To be honest, not much has been perfectly clear, including the reason for the things I've done. I wonder... that is, do you mind if I ask a few questions?" She asked him timidly.

"I'm not cruel." Vee-vee said defensively, "and yes, I figured that's why you're here- foresaw it actually, ask away and I'll do my best to answer and offer guidance." Interpreting ones visions was never an easy task, impossible for a mere mortals like Tyarnach, but Vee-Vee was a known scholar with ties to the great god and hence why he entrusted the small plant with his daughter who embodied a large fragment of his power.

Now that the moment had come, Kee wasn't even certain where she ought to begin. She stared thoughtfully at the ground for a second or two as she contemplated how to word the dozens of questions that had gone through her mind since things had started. Here she stood with a being who had many answers and she struggled not to bombard him with questions about everything.
"Some days ago, the Creator gave me visions. I'm still not certain what all of them mean, but when I was captive to a human mage, I found out Tyarnach was an elf before Cyburn changed him." She looked back at the blue beast and gave what she hoped was an assuring smile before looking back at the plant. "At least, that's what seems to be the case, but I don't have any proof. There are all these details, that he might be an heir, and... I-I suppose, I'd like to know where I should start if I'm supposed to find the answer to those questions. How can I prove it, and if it's true, how can we change him back?"

"Heh," The plant coughed with a smile that revealed his sharp teeth. "Just one look at him should give you all the answers you need." He approached Tyarnach as close as the brambles would allow, "an elven heir of a dying civilization that once flourished for thousands of years, kidnapped and transformed into a fearsome beast. It's almost like a fairytale with a cruel twist, but his former self is easily seen in this alternate appearance. For example, his eyes. Such a hue is unique to only one race of elves, the Frostfyre, and his mane is the glossy colour that only the royal family has, it runs through only two bloodlines. And I suppose, lastly, his resilience is a quality that defines that of someone who will one day, or should I say, someone who was supposed to make a powerful and benevolent ruler."
He turned on his heel to retrieve some things from his shelves, the head on his tail watched the two in silence. "I'll show you something to prove it. But in order to help him turn back into what he's supposed to be, I'll need some details. Do you know what was used to turn him? How long has he been like this and what does he recall?" Though the scholar did not expect Kee to know all the answers to his questions, it seemed as if he was speaking strictly to her and not Tyarnach.
The blue beast however, had grown agitated and frowned at Kee, his mane glowing with an unsettled irritation, "if you don't mind, could I speak to you in private, before you go answering his questions?" He snarled a whisper to his spirit companion, quite concerned with what they had already been told.

Kee blinked down at Tyarnach and lowered her head, nosing gently at Tyarnach's cheek. She was careful to avoid his mane for fear of being shocked, but also wanted to soothe him given his apparent annoyance. She could not reassure him silently, the way she might an actual animal, which only made her feel more certain about his origins. "What's wrong?" She asked quietly instead. The fact that Vee-Vee might have been being rude by only addressing her had escaped her grasp, if only because she had assumed he would welcome Tyarnach's answers to the question just as soon as her own answers.
"I won't tell him anything you really don't want me to, but I think he can help. Why are you upset?" It only confused the part of her that was woefully naive, and she seemed determined to quickly put him into a better mood before carrying on.
